Dr. Kenneth Scott

Dr. Kenneth Scott is a native Chicagoan and veteran of the United States Navy where he served two tours in the Persian Gulf War as an Air Traffic Controller. Educationally, Dr. Scott has accrued an Associate’s Degree from Prairie State College, a Bachelor’s degree from Chicago State University, a Master’s Degree from Chicago State University, a Master’s Degree from Lewis University, and a Doctorate Degree from Lewis University. Professionally, he has served numerous student populations over the past 25 years as a Teacher’s Aide (Paraprofessional), a Special Education Teacher, a Dean of Students, an Assistant Principal, Principal, Supervisor of Business Affairs, Director of Human Resources, and Assistant Superintendent. Dr. Scott is a proponent of holistic education with a focus on upward mobility. He holds himself, his staff, and the students he serves to high expectations. His ambition is that each student in the district functions as a citizen of a higher plane and is ultimately able to compete in this global economy.
