GOALS OF BOARD OF EDUCATION
2024-2025

 

  I.   ACADEMIC ACHIEVEMENT

        District 149 will ensure our students meet or exceed academic standards.

 

 II.   ENHANCE TECHNOLOGY

        District 149 will enhance its use of technology to ensure students are prepared for the 21st Century and beyond.

 

III.  IMPROVE FINANCE/SUPPORT AND OPERATIONS

        District 149 will achieve a long-range balanced budget in a fiscally sound manner.

 

IV.  INCREASE FAMILY ENGAGEMENT

       District 149 will engage parents and community stakeholders to invest, support and improve the educational process.

 

 V.   PROFESSIONAL LEARNING COMMUNITY

        District 149 will provide an environment that attracts and retains qualified faculty and invested educators.

 

VI.  ORDERLY LEARNING ENVIRONMENT

        District 149 will provide a healthy, welcoming and anti-bullying environment for all scholars and community members.

VII.  SAFE LEARNING ENVIRONMENT

        District 149, to the best of our ability, will ensure the protection of all scholars and faculty with continual safety and training awareness.
