GOALS OF BOARD OF EDUCATION
2022-2023

 

  I.   ACADEMIC ACHIEVEMENT

        District 149 will ensure our students meet or exceed academic standards.

 

 II.   ENHANCE TECHNOLOGY

        District 149 will enhance its use of technology to ensure students are prepared for the 21st Century.

 

III.  IMPROVE FINANCE/SUPPORT AND OPERATIONS

        District 149 will achieve a long-range balanced budget in a fiscally sound manner.

 

IV.  INCREASE FAMILY ENGAGEMENT

       District 149 will engage parents and community stakeholders to invest, support and improve the educational process.

 

 V.   PROFESSIONAL LEARNING COMMUNITY

        District 149 will provide an environment that attracts and retains quality faculty and staff.

 

VI.  SAFE AND ORDERLY LEARNING ENVIRONMENT

        District 149 will provide a safe, nurturing and orderly environment conducive for learning to occur in all classrooms.
